Come rain or snow, the parade will march on! Come celebrate the rich legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the 47TH Annual MLK Parade in partnership with the Black Heritage Society downtown starting at 10 am. Starting Downtown Houston at Lamar and Smith Street. You can count on us to deliver a spectacular showing. Join us and witness an unforgettable event that will leave you with memories for a lifetime! Come out with Praise Houston to celebrate Houston MLK Festival and Children’s Day of Service downtown City Hall on January 20, 2025, starts immediately after the parade until 4:00 p.m. and features live musical performances, kid-friendly activities, art and craft vendors, marketing booths, great food, and more! Free for the public to attend.
